Halo really has been disappointing. I would have waited and got it for Christmas if I knew it was gonna be unplayable for a week +
For some reason people think its acceptable though. I can understand some hiccups, but Halo was clearly not finished/ready for launch.
Games should be ready to go when the hit the shelf or they should inform buyers that they're not done with the game yet.
Games aren't goddamn plant seeds. There should be no waiting for the end product involved once the game is purchased.

Wait until Wednesday to see how the new patch does. I haven't had game-breaking problems with it, but it hasn't been smooth sailing either. I got in to a good bit of matches this past weekend, and the only single player hiccup I encountered is that it skipped me through The Library level, which was fine by me.

To answer the OP, Yes, for the time being. This is a good lesson to everyone that day 1 games can wait. Stop preordering and stop trying to be the first fan boy to play everything. Anything online should expect hiccups. Destiny is being used as an example for getting it right and they still have issues at times.

You can also add unfinished games that will be patched once a week instead of sending out a polished product.
