That seems to be the talking point for the deluded retards out in LSU land who actually think Miles is a good coach. Do you really think LSU could not attract and bring in a top shelf coach or an up-and-comer that's better than that Bozo the Clown, Elmer Fudd hybrid walking the sidelines now?

Really? I've been out of Baton Rouge for a while but is the university, city and state such shite holes that Bozo Fudd is the best you can get?

Or...maybe you guys who say that are just stupid.

That's my vote.

I don't think many or any people are saying Les is the best we can do. That's a pretty ridiculous stance to take. But I think mostly people are just aware that every time you make a new hire you're taking a risk and it doesn't always turn out great.

Les Miles has the 3td highest win % sin sec history. Higher than Saban and Spurrier. He has achieved this great win % during the most successful era of sec football. Since he was hired, no p5 program has more wins, no cfb program has beaten more ranked teams , and no cfb program has a better ooc record.

you mean like a 4 or 5 loss season after losing our starting QB, RB, and WRs in a year where we play in a division that is historically good?

Truth. But, playing shite ABSURDLY SAFE is pretty much what the problem with Miles is.

Sure. We could hire the next Pelini. I'll even go so far as to be honest enough to admit that in hiring coaches, it honestly appears that misses outnumber hits.

But, every team out there who hits will tell you its worth it.

Next year is quickly becoming the most important year in Miles' tenure.

I think Miles has been doing a bad job of late but you are a retard if you define Miles with any description short of good. But since I've seen your numerous post on the poli board, calling you a retard is fitting.

I think if Harris turns out to not be the real deal or for whatever reason, Miles sticks with AJ all year, we could be seriously in for a 6-7 loss season.

No, actually I mean like even when Archer, Hallman, and Dinardo were on their last leg, there have always been a significant number of chicken littles that are scared to pull a trigger, ANY trigger. Instead they prefer to do nothing. This situation we've found ourselves in reminds me of that business that refuses to change when their competition is nipping at their heals and gaining market share, simply because they got comfortable and content, and are deadly afraid of change. They are about to get passed. It's as much a constant in business as it is in college football. Everything has risk. You can't not change though. Everything changes.

I can recall Archer defenders and Dinardo defenders. I do think Hallman pretty much ran them all of though!!

But yes, there were literally people think we could never hire a decent coach firing Dinardo so fast after he resurrected the program(their words). It was surreal. I mean, they fought the good fight to the bitter end.

How many SEC championships Has he won? How many National championships? How many conference or National Championships did he win before LSU? He had a good run the thing that I'm going to remember about his run is that Saban won 3 to his 1 and beat him in 1. That's his legacy

Yeah, but 21-0 and 17-0...

But seriously, I give the man a lot of credit for having prolonged success in the SEC. It's very difficult to do and he has had a great overall record. But people don't want to acknowledge that overall success when we get Goodfellas-style whacked by a crappy Arkansas team. Our offense remains in the stone ages and he makes a ton of money to have us near the top on both sides of the ball. When that doesn't happen (and we are near the bottom in one), people are going to complain. And I don't think there is anything wrong with that.

So do you honestly think that Les is a better coach than Saban or Spurrier? LSU wins based on pure talent. When is the last time Les out coached an opponent?

It's sad, but now that the program is thoroughly infected with this hyena, you can expect a lot more of this season's results in the future.

I was just talking about this with my neighbor who works in the athletic dept and he says the same thing. We win when we out talent teams but when coaching is necessary to win we lose

No way. Defense will be too good to lose anywhere near 6 games.
