Just had a tornado warning message pop up on my phone

I did not sign up for any service and the tone was that same tone you hear when they test the emergency broadcast system, wasn't aware the government was doing this.

If you have an iPhone it automatically does that and Amber Alerts.

You can turn them off in settings I believe.

Also the weather channel app will do this too. You can go into settings and turn it off.
