A Drudge headline

NYT PAGE ONE MONDAY: Obama admin and health insurance companies have 'powerful, mutually beneficial partnership'... Developing...

To which I say "duh".

I doubt being the NYT the piece will be all that critical.

All one has to do to understand the insurance companies have made billions off of ACA is to look at the financial statements of the publicly traded health insurance companies.

Some idiot attacked me when I brought this up a while back citing the so called profit limits of 10% net profits in the bill. How stupid are these democrats?

Its funny how prior to the ACA, righties were proclaiming there was no way health insurance companies could meet the 80-85% medical loss ratio requirement. And now they are whining that the insurance companies are making too much. WHICH IS it guys?

You don't find it bad that private industry uses the coercive power of the state to grow more financially secure?

You are straight up EuroTrash.

I agree with Spiderman. Insurance companies are making more money because millions more are insured/ This is bad why exactly?

Or would you prefer a public option or single payer being passed instead?

He bought them off, with his "guaranteed" customers. He saw what they did to Hillarycare.

The NYT and its readers are using this profit motive scenario as rallying cry for single payer.

Apart from Medicare and Medicaid government is not in the insurance business.

Would you cancel these programs?

Go right ahead. President Hillary Clinto or Bernie Ssanders will be happy you helped them get elected in a landslide.

That isn't true. If the citizens are forced to purchase a product at the demands of their government, that government is entrenched within the entire industry.

You didn't hear me say any of that crap. It was obvious to me when the government decided to make people do business with companies and then told them if they don't have enough money to do with the company they would give them the money to do business that the insurance companies were going to make fortunes.

Just like net neutrality these companies threw money around DC until they got the bill they wanted. You can bet there are lobbyists out there today working to get Obama to impose FCC regulation on their company so they can make billions more too.
