Jennings has given his all for LSU...

And sometimes that just not enough...I think he's a really good guy and works hard but he just doesn't have what it takes at this point in time...we should try the next option in Harris or I have a fear we will lose him

He really has.
Say what you want about his abilities or our coaches or who should be starting, but Jennings has played his arse off for us. Much respect to him for that.

Harris wanted to go to A&M anyway, if he goes, he goes. Jennings has not reached his ceiling no matter what anyone tells you. Mettenberger didn't come anywhere close to his ceiling in 2012.

I don't think anyone disputes Jennings effort or intentions. But he doesn't appear to be the man.

We've seen when Harris has the reins also. LSU's best option would probably be to find a slow white juco qb

Anybody that thinks Harris would transfer just proves how out of touch they really are. He will finish what he started at LSU.

Yes he has tried, even that last drive when he was moving the team down field and fumbled. He was actually looking good and tried to make a play when he fumbled. I felt bad for him. If he keeps failing to produce and the coach keeps sending him in, you cant blame him.

No one is saying jennings is a bad guy. He isn't a good QB at the moment

This, he's just not any good. He's a kid who does everything right, he just doesn't have it.
That's on the coaches for sticking with him.

I do not know which Jennings you have been watching but there has been absolutely no progression in his game since the Iowa game last year. No progression at all. He might be worse.

Given that the staff ran off 4 QBs in the past year and we only have two left, we better sign at least 3 QBs this year.
