I just bought some property Friday and was clearing it yesterday and stirred up two huge ground jacket nest with the tractor.
Im planning on going back up tues am when its cold and dealing with them. Now my question...
Pour gas or diesel in there? Light it or not? dig them up after or no? Thanks

I have killed a few different nests of these bastards...
basically, just fill a quart coffee can with gasoline and go there after dark to pour it down the hole...gotta go after dark so that they are all in the hole when you do it...during the day, some will be out of the nest and there will also be gaurds around the entrance to alert the others when you get nearby....
as I say, I have done this a few times and never had a single one come out of the hole....
I have never lit the gas, as I would rather the fumes stay for a while to be sure they are all dead...

Great advice. I didn't know that about after dark, I might go tomorrow night then.
How big have the ones you've killed been? These two have literally hundreds in them.

I would say that there were thousands in them...and I'll bet there are that many in yours as well...
I dug one up just to see what was there and it was pretty shocking how many nests there was in that hole...
