since 2011 that theoretically, the coaches could've hoped would be here in 2014.

Jerrard Randall 4 star
Stephen Rivers 3 Star
Jennings 4 Star(lol)
Rettig 4 star
Harris 4 Star

Do you people realize how goddamned hard you have to try to recruit that many 4 star QBs and the best you have available in 2014 is what we've seen?

Whether they really were as bad as that or not, either way, THAT is a major coaching failure.

Sure wish we could've held on to Gunner Kiel.

Well, I'm referring to guys that actually came in.

I mean really folks. Statistically speaking, the odds of recruiting all those guys and the BEST available in 2014 being the worst starter in college football are near nil.

You are talking about signing not recruiting. It's not normally a good thing when you have to play your QBs early in their college careers. Seems like LSU has been playing catch up since 2008. The Perrilloux and Zach Lee departures and the Gunner Keil de-commitment had a ripple effect.
