I'm starting to think that Ryan has "first year defense" that ROCKS because Opponents won't figure it out the first time around UNLESS you have a smart, defensive-minded HC.

So... You've got first year Ryan D... but he doesn't have any clue how to evolve it. Some coaches don't have the ability to make 2nd half adjustments. I think he can't make season to season adjustments.

I'm about to have a stat party in a new thread.

I hear you... but it isn't all his fault. We just don't have a lot of guys who can cover.

Lewis is really the only one who is consistent. I think its a lot on the players and the execution.

they were fired up when they played the Packers and really even the 49ers last week.

they just played flat today on offense and defense.
