George W. Bush explains why he doesn't criticize Obama

Former President George W. Bush has a simple explanation for why he almost never criticizes his successor: He feels it undermines the office of the presidency.
In an interview that aired Thursday night on Fox News' "Hannity," Bush insisted he would not attack President Barack Obama even though he continued to have strong opinions about national politics.
"I don't think it's good for the country to have a former president undermine a current president; I think it's bad for the presidency for that matter," Bush said, according to video posted by Mediaite.
Bush, who is promoting his book about his father (former President George H.W. Bush), "41: A Portrait of My Father," also said he had no interest in generating headlines for himself after serving in the country's highest office for eight years.

Barack is the only one who criticizes others who have held the office.

I doubt that President Obama will follow this path.

When BHO is an ex-president, look out.
He is going to be a whiny bitch.

Its a fine tradition that all should follow.
I'm not sure but I believe BHO will follow Carter's example.
I hope he proves me wrong.

Bush also calls Bill Clinton a brother from another mother
and he wants his real brother to run for President who vows to make citizens out of millions of illegal immigrants
so, there's that

Not true - Democrats generally have no problems criticizing their successors - Carter took a while to get going, but hasn't really shut up since(and, to be fair, Carter has even been hard on BHO, to a degree), Clinton has no problems speaking out - particularly in 2008 on the campaign trail.
Unfortunately, BHO isn't an ex-president - yet - but I do not foresee him being quiet for a minute - for a second, if his successor turns out to be Republican.
Hopefully, he'll just go out there and keep himself occupied having his name on ghostwritten books and making speeches for $crilla.

Bush is ten times the president that Obama is.
Think about that.
Think about that.

It's difficult to do.

He'll do it once, and it will instantly draw comparisons to his administration. He'll shut up after that.

I don't see that happening. Obama is not of the same mindset as those two for a lot of reasons. Obama is all about himself, to the extreme. Bill, not so much. Bush, not at all.

In 10 years Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton will either be dead or in a nursing home. Obama will replace them.

Bush was a President that had class, whether you like him or not.
However, look at the democratic sleaze like carter & clinton. They continually run their mouths.
This obama fool is gonna be like the turd that won't completely flush.
And yeah, he will be one of the biggest whinny clowns ever.

I hope you're right but i think he'll be like some washed up tv reality star that just won't go away.

Odds Obama keeps his mouth shut after leaving office?
About nil.

Doubtful. From all accounts there is no love loss between President Obama and Bill Clinton.
