Wouldn't surprise me if Dutchtown hung with them. They have a losing record because they have about 492 turnovers. Hold on to the ball and they are a very competitive team.

Dont follow HS, but that's a pretty legit round 1 game, right? Is Dutchtown having a "down" year?

They were expected to be a high seed this year but the offense has been inconsistent. Have a good defense and a great secondary. They are dangerous if they hold the football.

Dutchtown just screwed up a punt and took a safety.

Dutchtown leads 7-2 with 1:10 left in the second quarter. Barbe driving though

Screwed up one last week against St. Amant at their 20. No safety, but STA scored on the next play. Possibly cost them the game.

Justin Reid picks off a pass to end the Barbe threat.

Dutchtown takes over round the 50. Dutchtown drives and Justin Reid kicks a 46 yard field goal to give Dutchtown a 10-2 lead going into halftime.

Did the punter kneel down with the ball again?

Justin Reid
Doesn't he basically play every position for them?

Safety and kicker. Does not play offense. He's not the entire team. Not even the entire secondary. Not by a longshot.

Justin isn't even one of the 10 best athletes on the team. remember the name Fitel Bolding for next season.

Dutchtown takes the opening possession of the second half and is driving. The RB breaks a nice run and gets to the red zone only to fumble and turn it over. Luckily the defense forces a three and out.

Dutchtown now has it again and is driving.

Dutchtown offense stalls and punts. Barbe has it around their own 6 yard line.

Dutchtown winning 10-2 with 7:42 left in the third

Barbe drives to the Dutchtown 9 yard line but gets two penalties and turns it over on downs.

Dutchtown takes over at their own 16 yard.

Still Dutchtown 10-2 at the end of the third quarter

Dutchtown tries a stupid option on third and 7 from their own 30 yard line and fumbles. Barbe recovers the ball and has at the Dutchtown 25 yard line.

9:50 left in the game. Still 10-2

Barbe tries to drive but the Dutchtown defense gets two big plays for losses. On third and 20 from the Dutchtown 35, the refs bail Barbe out on a bull shite pass interference call. Barbe score three plays later but misses the two point conversion.

Dutchtown winning 10-8 with 7:00 left in the game
