And I hate hearing all these old timers talk about how awesome they were... No, no they weren't. Their music hasn't changed from then till now and I've listened to it all and, save for a handful of songs, there really isn't anything special.

The only change is McCartney now uses autotune during his live shows (I learned this from researching the McCartney concert thread on here). But who cares dude- it's McCartney!!

Cause I have a low self esteem and don't like the life I've created for myself. Don't take it personally.

When I'm feeling down, I just look at my awesome Abbey Road poster (the one where there walking across the street!!!) and pop in the Love soundtrack and all my worries float away.

Plus I guarantee about 90% of people in attendance at a McCartney show are only there to hear "that Hey Jude song" because they heard it at karaoke night once.

youre reaching bobbyray levels of dumb sig-worthy quotes, homie. A lot of people were there to see one of the most beloved and covered song catalogs in music history performed live by the most successful musician of the 20th century.. The guy played 39 songs for 3 hours nonstop like a badass

Beatles Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr sign piano for Slidell veterans' project auction

quote:

Everybody loves the Beatles. That's the first thought that came to Slidell artist Lori Gomez's mind as she tried to come up with a theme to transform a century-old, donated piano into a work of art.

The piano would be auctioned to help raise money to build veterans' homes in east St Tammany Parish, and so Gomez set about refurbishing and then painting the colorful Beatles artwork onto it.

But two final touches have made the upright, antique piano more rare and valuable than anyone involved in the upcoming auction ever imagined: personal autographs by both Ringo Starr and Sir Paul McCartney, the only two surviving members of The Beatles.

"I had no idea it would turn into this," Gomez said.
Ringo Starr, one of the two surviving members of The Beatles, autographs an heirloom piano that was refurbished and turned into a work of art to raise money for veterans' homes.

Kinda like seeing eric clapton. It sucks. The people that go to that kind of thing are either over 45 or just douchebags trying to live vicariously through the baby boomers.

I guess thats good for a $140 nostalgia act. You sound like a custy for actually bragging about your experience in multiple threads. I bet you wore your toonces and cargo shorts as you Observed a bunch of old geEZERS swinging their hips to the most overrated and overrplayed music of all time in section 305 of the arena.

So, Burt and BV, who are your musical heroes? I'm just curious.

The Guiness Book of World Records who listed him as the most successful musician and songwriter in popular music history said sup. But when it comes to sleeping with little boys, MJ has Pauly beat so definitely successful in that regard

besides this thread and the actual concert thread, think you're a little off base here

c'mon burt brah. I know you could do better than toonces and cargo shorts.Time to hop off the TD Troll Train with these lame rehashed terms. I realize you're trying to release your inner bobby ray in here and trying to make Beatles vs Oasis part dos, but you're doing an awfully shitty job of it
