We usually hunt public land but hunting private this year.

My buddy shot a 185" deer on public land up there yesterday.

Where did he shot a 185" at. I spend a lot of time hunting in So. Il hunting public and private, and there was a deer of that caliber in one of the public areas we hunt. I am up there every weekend from mid October thru Nov., and will be heading back this afternoon. The rut is in full swing right now. It's also starting to take place around the house,I am in Northeast AR and twice this week I have seen bucks running does in fields right on the edge of Jonesboro.

Just got back from their. It was a hell of a trip. Saw lots of deer, my buddy missed a super nice 8 point. Went on a pheasant hunt as well. Can't wait for that trip again next year. Good luck brotha!
