More than 1000 sexual assault related calls not investigated by NOPD

I heard that earlier and was shocked. If this is accurate I would imagine it is due in large part to the number of officers the nopd has. They literally cannot handle a fraction of the calls they receive and the administration is reluctant to admit it. The number of officers frequently reported by nopd is a gross exaggeration as they are, the last time I heard, under 1,000 officers on the entire department.

I honestly cannot remember the Last time I saw an nopd traffic cop. You might be able to argue that point regarding some departments but nopd doesn't even have a fraction of the officers necessary just to work all of the beats they have.

the only p[lace I ever really see a NOPD officer radaring is on Holiday Dr in Algiers.
other than that, you really don't see many NOPD traffic units.
Probably why it takes an hour plus to get a cop when you have an accident.
