What is the most jerry rigged contraption you have in your house?

also our backdoor is missing the doorknob so to open it we shove a knife in there to turn it.

fan blade broke so I removed the rest to make it only a two blade ceiling fan. Works

I have an antique walnut table that has wobbly legs I have to son tasty adjust so it doesn't snap the table in half. The nuts are held on with wadded up pieces of paper. I bought it that way, though. I need a carpenter.

I fell through the ceiling in the kitchen about 8 years ago. I replaced the sheet rock but never finished it. My wife complains constantly about it.

Used to be the stove... had a burner short out so I rewired it and the back right knob controlled the front right burner and the back right burner just didn't work.
Then I got a new one.
So now... nothing really.

The button on my dryer only works if you hold it down. So I have a gallon of paint atop a hammer leaning on it so it will stay on.

Driver side door keyhole is jammed, my kid once stuck a stick in it thinking he could unlock the door. I have to go in through the passenger side to unlock the driver side. Going on 5 years now.

Instead of properly doing electrical for an outdoor fan, I spliced an extension chord and just plug it into the wall.
