Why is A&M so obsessed with LSU?

I always kind of thought arkansas had it bad but aggies take it to unprecedented levels. We've really done a number on their mentality over the past 3 years.
If they were to start playing UT again would they ease back towards their obession towards them? Or should we expect them to revise their fight song to something that is entirely about LSU in the near future?

A&M has beaten LSU's athletic program in all sports around 5-6 times total since they've joined the conference. that kind of merits obsession status if you really think about it

Closest school geographically and the one they compete with for the most recruits. It will be a fierce rivalry at some point. The only reason it isn't reciprocated yet is because we've had their number so far.

They left their primary rivalry to join the SEC. Of any schools in the SEC, they have the most history with Arkansas and LSU. Arkansas sucks, but they're 0-3 against LSU in the last few years. So, I can see why.

A&M was invisible until they beat Auburn. I wish they would have screwed it up. Auburn's loss actually hurts us now.
