Hate those people.

If you pay for a seat(s) you should get whatever is intended to be with those seats.

See this all the time at other sporting events too.

At the 2003 National Championship game, I went through rows of empty seats after the game was over to get the free Nokia TombRaider game they gave out. Sold them to GameStop for 2 dollars of a credit each. 60 bucks of credit, aka a free game.

Thank you for bringing up this issue. What the frick is up with these types? They are the same type who would steal someone's lunch out of the work fridge and not even think twice about it.

So short synopsis of events:

Girl takes about 10 towels off of bench. 50 year old lady says hey those aren't for you. Girl says I'm entitled to these because she is a student and technically paid for them and to frick off. 5 minutes later 6 year old boy sits down in seats with his parents with no towel. He asks his parents why don't we get towels.

His dad should have gone and took a towel from a nearby section. Alternatively the dad could have told the kid that the towel is a BS chotchkie and the kid could have had one less piece of junk in the house.

While we're talking about the towels, why didn't they put any in the upper decks? I know we're not pretty enough for TV up there, but I pay my TAF fees like everyone else, and I think I'm entitled to a damn towel .

Those fricking towels cost us the game. We aren't a towel-waving fanbase.

Nor are we a piped-in music fanbase. Nothing worse than white people trying to club it all night in TS.

to be clear, y'all are talking about someone who went around taking the towels before the game?

After the game, while waiting for crowds to clear out, my son went around our section picking up the towels that people had left behind. . . ended up with almost 30 of them. This was after the game and I see no problem with it. They will make great fishing towels!

After the game is fine, IMO.

Also BS about the upper deck getting none.

FWIW, you may be able to get them at BR area Capital One banks. I know you could each of the last two years.

If your kids (I'm assuming others would not be so determined) want one and missed out, that may be an option. Obviously doesn't have the same meaning as it would from game but you might get one still.

Yellow towels looked like penalty flags which were thrown by Tom Ritter who cost LSU the game...

Coincidence? I think not.
