Between Honda, Yamaha and Kipor I think I'm gonna go Kipor. But what's the minimum wattage to use? I don't want a KISS concert or even music really. We want a TV, the Box and probably a Tailgater Satellite setup. Maybe a cold AC setup.

How much wattage do I need? How small-or large-should I go, and what do you run and how much wattage/what kind of setup do you have?

Save some money and go with a Ryobi

We've used this for 2 years with no problems.

ETA: we run a tv, satellite box, fans, and a george forman grill with it

Can you compare noise levels for the Champion to the Kipor and Honda whisper quiet inverters?

Make sure it's compliant with the LSU regs or the generator Nazi running around campus will shut you down.

LSU has no regulations on generators. Only suggestions.

That's what I use and it requires a power inserter

I assume those auto aiming dishes require power too

Determine your total watts for all by

Volts X amps = Watts

TV say 110 V X 2 amps = 220 watts for a TV

2000 watt generator will push about 2000 max/load watts

Spend the cash and get a Honda EU. Trouble free, quiet, and will handle what you need it for.
