the DC-10-30 has a lower lobe galley on it with an elevator, there have been a couple of flight attendants killed because they would stand in the elevator recess and press the call button not knowing that the elevator was up on the main cabin deck, the elevator would come as called and crush them, design was eventually changed

She's not dead. A Darwin Award specifically requires that the recipient die or be rendered incapable of reproducing.

She makes purposeful arm movements at the 1:58 mark and towards the end of the clip she's holding her head upright without assistance.
