There is no way an SEC team gets left out if an SEC West team wins the SEC... four teams from the SEC West in the Top 10 mid-way through November

Have to win out.

To me, the interesting thing would be to see where State ends up if Bama was to win by 3 or less in a game played similar to Bama-LSU. Would Bama even jump State?

If Bama beats MSU, and if Ole Miss wins out and if AU beats Bama but losses to UGA, the sec west champ is Ole Miss........

Too bad that won't happen.

Real question is will Georgia get in with 2 losses?

Arizona State has the toughest road of non-SEC teams on this list.

They have to play against a pretty formidable Washington State team, then play a rivalry game against a solid Arizona team.

Then play Oregon.

If they win out, they are in. No question in my mind.

TCU is the only team in top 6 that will need help from selection committee in my opinion. If Miss St. loses a very close game on the road to Bama it will be interesting to see if they drop them below TCU. If not then TCU could be screwed unless Georgia beats the western opponent in SEC champ game.

Interesting read on how this potentially finishes out. I was kind of surprised that Miami is a 61% favorite this weekend according to these advanced stats.

What is with the late season cupcake games for the SEC? Samford? W. Carolina? Vanderbilt?

Florida State drops a game. Baylor wins out.

If Alabama beats State...

1) Alabama
4) Baylor
(New Orleans, LA)

2) Oregon
3) Mississippi State
(Pasadena, CA)
