Staying in Grand Isle this weekend, any recent fishing reports?

Going to be staying on the bay side in a camp, going to be mostly bank fishing. Has everything moved into the marshes? Bait to use? Decent spots to check out?
Going to be bowfishing Saturday night

Last Friday saw quite a few people bank fishing. Can't tell you if they were catching. Although Rucker has posted some reports as of late

had some friends scratch at on a chartered trip. It was a bachelor party though so I'm not sure how serious the fishing was...

Went with the extended family to weeks ago (Ole Miss weekend) and caught eating size reds and flounder yaking in the state park lagoons (gold spoon) and caught as many white trout as we wnated by the bridge lights on shrimp. There were still some huge bull reds being caught then, but that will change as the cold weather moves in.
If I hadn't been with nephews/younger cousins that wanted turns on the yak, I would have tried the marshes toward Fourchon/LA1.
eta: The trout were mostly white, only a few specs by the bridge.

Popping cork and artificial is all you need.

Went Sunday, fished the road from old hwy 1 to elmers. 10 fat specks, biggest was 20, smallest about 14. Most were 16-18. All caught on live shrimp. Tried various plastics, no go. Just keep moving. Did best on old 1.
