From the previews it doesn't look great and the fact that there hasn't been any reviews on RT makes me think it could be quite terrible and the studio is protecting themselves so they can still cash in on opening weekend. Case in point, the last movie I went to see with no reviews until opening was The Last Air-Bender.

I'll watch it, but the previews looked pretty meh...
Maybe they don't want to give away all the good jokes in the previews?

previews do look bad, but keep it in context. I know I was probably 12 when the other one came out, so I thought it was hysterical. that same humor won't work for me these days.

I really think the difference is the delivery. In the previews (and the movie itself) for the first one, you really got the feeling that they were just dumb, awkward guys. The previews for the new one just make Harry and Lloyd look absolutely retarded and it seems extremely over-acted.

There was a subtle quality of the jokes that I fear will be lost in the sequel. Seems like this will be a lot of physical gags and zaniness.
