If so, what makes you so certain?

10% chance to me. Maybe that will change over the next two weeks, bowl game and next off season.

Who knows? So much could change between now and the A&M game, much less next year.

I do believe we need to see much more Harris to close out the year. Jennings was the victim of some horribly untimely drops and other bad breaks, but I'm thinking it's time to just cut our losses with him at least for this year and try to see exactly what we have in Harris in these last two games.

The only thing that I 100% believe is if both QBs are in good standing academically and on the roster in April that either can still win the job.

Because, contrary to what Hanagrif and Ott say, there is a BIG difference between 9-3 and 7-5.

I have been very open minded about the issue and after a lot of observation it appears to me that AJ is not comfortable in the pocket and this to me cannot be fixed very easily. BH will surpass AJ by end of Spring ball and once he settles down. He also has to learn to operate in the pocket - if he conquers that he will do quite well.

I agree, its very much in doubt. I dont understand the people saying itll be okay, we will be more experienced next year and we will have harris running the offense

All I am willing to bet on is if Harris is not the starter next year, then you can say bye-bye to him. No way a kid with that much talent, heralded as he was coming out of high school, sticks around for just his senior year. NO WAY.

Me. He'll do whatever he needs to do to impress Cam and win the job.

Lets just talk hypotheticals...LSU finished 9-3 and say beats Notre Dame in the Belk Bowl. Say Bama loses to Miss St, then loses a bowl game that they are not interested in being in and both finish 10-3. It certainly had an advantage on the recruiting trail then ending at beast 8-5.

No, in terms of Ws and Ls next year, it isn't a big difference, but in terms of perception and recruiting it does.

I do think Harris needs to play alot more in the last 2 games this season, but the answer to the question as to why he won't, is simply because the staff feels Jennings gives them a better chance to win now.

as much as I hate to say it. Jennings is now entrenched in the Job. It will take an injury, suspension or a blow out to change that

Thats the thing, nobody is sure. And in times of uncertainty, MIles is going with experience.

I don't know how much each are to blame as to why they haven't gotten Harris ready the last 11 months (Cam, Miles and Harris himself), but they see these kids daily. As of last Saturday night, it is clear the job belongs to Jennings and Jennings alone. Don't know if that will change or not, but the battle doesn't appear close as of right now.

Seems to be the history of Miles that Jennings is now entrenched in the job, as you said--probably true, doesn't mean we have to like it.
