Just watched the cypher earlier today. It was alright. Thought 5'9 could've came harder. Budden did his thing and of course Eminem killed his verses.

Who's your pick? It's undeniable that he's up at the top.

Em killed his verse. Dude has so much talent.

That shite is so lame. His "I'm so fricked up in the head and don't care" shtick got old quick.

that was boring as shite...Eminem should've stopped after the Marshall Mathers LP

Guess we'll agree to disagree. Not many have the lyrical talent of Em. His word play is untouchable. Definitely one of the greatest lyricist of all time.

Good point. if theres one thing rap is known for its diversity of subject matter. I mean, you got money, hoes,...and uh..

Em's shtick is pretty tired though.

BIG, Method Man (and the majority of Wu), MF DOOM, Nas, Guru, Q-Tip, Mos Def, and Big L are all miles above Eminem. And that is just from one section of the map.
That being said I do really enjoy a large portion of Eminem's catalog. He's lyrical ability is very strong and his voice goes very well with the flow he uses. I like Em but to say that he is in discussion for the greatest ever is a stretch in my opinion. One of the best currently out there? Sure

I don't think it's a stretch to put him as one of the best ever but that's just me. His accolades speak for themselves. I'd say it's a stretch to say some of the ones you named to be "miles" ahead of Em. It all really just comes down to how you "weigh" certain aspects of their game.

Em is top 5 easily
I'd put KRS One and Tupac right up there. QTip would be in my top 5 but that's personal preference. Kayne could've been in conversation but he'll never be same after KK. D.O.C.'s "No One Can Do It Better" is probably my favorite rap album of all time.
