There is a camp located in the Homochitto forest for sale. A nice camp on 2 acres. Cost is 10,000 for all. Is it worth buying a camp there with all that land being public hunting land?

The bare land is worth at least $5K. If it has road access, power and a little camp, it is a good deal.
Hunting national forest land is tough unless you are a really good hunter.

Define the word "nice".

Land value alone would be at least 40% to 50% of 10K.

Is it "2 acres" or ".2" of an acre?

How many other 2 acre plots are there around this 2 acre plot?

Homochitto forest

The name alone might freak me out.

I'd pass on it. No deer or turkeys up there anyway. The freezes in January and February 2014 killed them all.
