I use Draino and the kitchen sink is draining just fine. But there's a slight bad odor. A quick search on the internet suggested baking soda. But I don't have any in the house. Any other ideas?

Hey, I've got a product like that in my kitchen cabinet. I use it for the dishwasher. But on the label it says you can also use it for a disposal. Thanks.

Ive always just dumped a little bleach down the drain. Not sure if thats the best technique though

Whenever you use citrus, put the rinds/peels down there. Natural oils in there will make it smell fresh again. Obviously dont put huge chunks but half a lemon/lemon or quarter of an orange always does the trick.

my wife made some concoction of vinegar and lemons. ran the lemons in a blender, mixed with vinegar then froze in ice trays. when it starts smelling I drop one or two in and it seems to help.

Cut a lemon in half and feed it in one half at a time and let the disposal chew them up.

Those plink things and lemons work pretty good. I pour a little dawn in there while the disposal is running too. I like seeing the suds come up through the other sink drain. #mildlyinteresting

I put a quartered lemon in their with no running water
Chew it up and let the acids breakdown the shite on the walls of the disposal for a while before you run water through it to clean it

Go to the Dollar Store and get some.

I live in the woods. The Dollar Store is a 40 minute drive. Could go tomorrow but I was looking for a option today. Got some good ideas.

White vinegar works pretty well

Do you have ice. Fill your sink with ice and show it down the garbage disposal. It helps to clean it out.

ice
This works also but not as good as the lemon or sink plinks

They're like $2. Cheaper than 10 lemons.

Baking soda then add vinegar. Remember those volcano science projects when you were a kid?
