Miles said BH would play...why?

My personal belief is that he was just trolling Saban. Probably.
But in all honesty Why outright lie to the fans? Maybe it's just coach speak...I get it. Most coaches do that to some extent.
I think what frustrates me is that the situation DID allow him to come into the game. The passing game was struggling...without a doubt...and needed a spark. The O-line was doing a pretty good job. There were plays were AJ had all day back there. Maybe it would've worked...maybe not. If AJ was running for his life, then let's not throw BH to the wolves...that's fair.
But, we knew the game would stay close. No way this team blows out Bama...no way. So we all knew BH would NOT play (unless AJ was injured, as was the case for those couple of plays)...so why even say it? It loses credibility with fans and it seems like it would piss off recruits too. Maybe recruits don't think that way. I wouldn't know.
Anyway, it just seems like statements like that are not Miles' modus operandi. Miles is a "we're going to run left behind LC...try to stop us" kind of coach. But with the QBs, he's always played this little game...just annoying.
Maybe BH isn't the answer...but we know for a fact that AJ isn't. I just hope he gets a fair shot next season.

He never said Harris will play. Harris won't play this year and he won't play next year.

Should have played him at least one + series and tried to spread the field. Not like he could have done worse than Jennings handing off the ball

..I lika you post ... its like , yeah , really , what up with that ...

My gut feelings is that Harris eventually transfers. If it were my son and the coach started a kid that can't manage a 20 qb rating 10 games into the season and my son can't get a chance I'm telling him to go. Even if my son were at lsu.

You know this how?
Why does it matter to you?

Harris will transfer after next season so won't matter anyway

no shite...I posted that he did when AJ was "injured."

Good thing we don't play at home again. Jennings would get booed with all the passing game negativity and frustration with Harris not getting more playing time.

coach speak...
you've got to realize that the bullshite/lying starts when the coach's lips begin to move, I think they're taught that in coach school

Jeez...I know it was a TLDR post...but my lord.
I acknowledged that BH played a couple of plays when AJ was injured.
I do not equate that with the articles coming out where Miles was stating the BH would play in this game. Yes, I know it is a technicality because...yes...he did indeed play. But, if AJ doesn't HAVE to come out...he doesn't play.

He probably thought the game plan was working so why start fricking with it.
Likely had intent to play him, but due to the game had no opportunity to make it happen.

miles doesn't trust either QB but he thinks jennings can run the offense better.
even though he's actually regressed
