I'm not sure you understand how powerful water from a fire truck hose can be

Just like the Atchafalaya scene in the book World War Z. I think bridges would be some of the most dangerous areas.

I thought the bridge was the safe part? under it.. not so much.. been a while since I read it..

sorry for threadjack.

I'm not sure you understand how much force it would take to knock someone's head clean off.

Keep in mind that those corpses had likely been decomposing for at least 1 1/2 years by the time Eugene blasted them with the water cannon. It wouldn't decapitate a freshly reanimated corpse or a living human being, but it could wreak havoc on a decomposing deadite.

I understand that, but the force would have knocked the walker down before it knocked its head off.

There have been heads completely bashed in with much less force.

All this was also acknowledged on TTD by the producer who was on. She said that they are making the walkers intentionally more ... squishy for lack of a better word, because of how long their bodies have been decomposing.

They talked about this when they were discussing the fire hose scene in particular but it also applied to the other makeshift weapons they use too.

Okay. Even taking into account that the walker skulls are like egg shells now, if you shoot a hose at an egg that is glued to a headless doll, the doll will fall over when hit by the water. The egg won't fly off and leave the body standing.

Well if we're going to hijak, let's hijak!

Agree, the doll would fall over, but the egg would be obliterated in the process and I think that's closer to what happened, right? I remember one scene (not in the gif) where it looked like the head was basically worn away "erosion-style" and that walker fell over (but maybe not fast enough). It wasn't like the water just knocked its head off whole was it?

I've seen a fair amount of well dead and rotting animals (weird job perk?) and I don't have a terrible time imagining that the water could do some significant damage.

You're probably right though, at least by degrees, the scene was probably a tad overly dramatic for the sake of gratuitous gore ... but it was cool!

I agree that it was a cool scene. I just thought that the decapitation was a bit of a stretch. It's really nitpicky and unimportant.

Ok finally was able to watch...

Thought it was a solid episode. Not amazing, but not bad either. And I love getting the back stories on the "new" characters.

Finally found out Eugene was a fraud. Not a huge surprise but still sucks. Can't blame Abe for beating the shite out of him. I would have done the same.

Rosita is smoking hot.

As far as this Walker Farm goes.... Remember it's a farm. Most likely animals and live stock, which was the smell IMO. Could someone be feeding them to keep them there?

Glen is very cool under pressure. He's a great character. Very level headed.

If Eugene is alive and if they go back and meet up with the rest of the group, what do yall tbink Rick will do once he finds out he's a fraud? Rick hates people that lie and hide stuff. Exile Eugene?

Next week should be great. I just wish it was Michonne + Daryl instead of Carol... I'm convinced Michonne and Daryl could end the ZA in about a weeks time. Just unleash them.
