An ode to Gameday- Let's do this Tigers!

It's gameday, don your armor,
Let all your colors show,
Come forth feasting and revelry,
The beer and wine doth flow,
Let hearts be filled with savage joy,
And tinged with sacred hate,
"Geaux Tigers!" Shout the masses,
The hordes cry "Tiger Bait!"
Let banners flap in wicked wind,
Adorn thine selves in gold,
And purple, royal hues of kings,
Let every boast be bold,
The foe, clad all in crimson,
Let them know they are marked,
For vengeance, on the gridiron,
When Death Valley grows dark,
And every voice shall clamor,
Souls sing and spirits soar,
Each time we hear those four sweet notes,
Let every Tiger roar,
As campus fills with raucous fans,
Beneath the stately oaks,
The untamed tiger masses,
Those fiercely friendly folks,
Let meat sear on the barbecue,
As draughts and shots are drunk,
And sup upon the tender flesh,
Of a pachyderm's trunk,
Let music pump the rhythm,
Like a heartbeat through these halls,
Until the stands reverberate,
And shake the very walls,
With bellies full and hearts aflame,
Stormclouds shall flee in fear,
No rain in Tiger Stadium,
Just gump tears fall in here,
So if your soul is gladdened,
By every bammer's sorrow,
Give everything you've got tonight,
Leave nothing for the morrow,
Shout louder than you ever have,
Like naught else ever mattered,
Make this one for the hist'ry books,
That leaves the records shattered,
Let's give Nick and the cursed gumps,
A sorrowful homeward ride,
Let this be one for vengeance,
Let's beat the Crimson Tide,
Tonight our Tigers give their all,
And every fan must too,
So headlines read, on Sunday morn,
VICTORY FOR LSU!!!

Hells yeah! Go Tigers! Go Optimus miles! Yeah I'm pumped I'm getting jacked up I'm really excited now and I'm know that the Tigers are going to win 31 three I'm happy

A lot of people do these stupid poems for games. I think it's dumb and stupid and people think they're so creative. Most of the time. That's probably because those poems are stupid and really dumb. July
But this poem is great it should be published in all the books and every child in Louisiana made to memorize it like the national anthemand Pledge of Allegiance. I really think this is beautiful. I'm almost tearing up
