From my contacts in Iowa I am hearing that he is really quietly building a helluva infrastructure and has hired some respected local names for his staff.

He is extremly popular on the far left.

I wouldn't be surprised if he has legs.

Hillary was the 2008 presumptive nominee as early as the day after the 2006 elections.

Despite that, no less than 8 other Democrats announced their candidacies for the nomination by February 10, 2007, and one more joined the race on May 21, 2007.

There will be at least 6 or 7 Dems announcing their candidacies by June 30, 2015.

Bernie Sanders is a self-described socialist. No way in hell he wins anything.

Anyone who thinks the GDR was the model nation is an absolute moron.

Azazello, the true American left still very much admires the command economies of the eastern European 20th century. Bernie Sanders is on record saying he is troubled by the price system, and instead believes goods should be accessible to all. No way in god's name he comes close to anything in 2016. It's scary that Vermont elected him.

Vermont- where people elect senators who want to abolish prices.

Everyone who thinks about it should be troubled by the price system.

I will say this, though: This guy is the embodiment of exactly what the left stands for without the "Frankfurt School" pretensions and "political correctness" that are usually attached. If this country is going to choose to go further Socialist in the European fashion and destroy itself from within, I say let them do it with the biggest and most undeniable label they can have slapped on their bumpers. If there's going to be a true trial by fire, make the flames as hot as possible.

How old are you? 14? Do you think this will make you appear thoughtful and precocious to mom and dad?

It's like somehow you haven't learned a lesson from the 150,000,000 that have died under price-controlled totalitarian rule.

Cuomo on CNN called him out the day after election. Bernie came on randomly criticizing Citizens United, yet his PACs put a bunch money into the election. He called Bernie out for perpetuating the same problem he criticizes. He's just another elitist hypocrite parading as a populist (i.e., Elizabeth Warren).

Can't knock Bernie for that. If SCOTUS says "elections will be allowed to be funded in the following manner..." then Sanders has no recourse. He should not have to unilateraly disarm from the election process.
