The future of the Republican Party is educated black voters

Republicans need to look to the distant future and attempt to make serious gains in the black and latino community. I'm not as worried about Catholic latinos as I am blacks. I think over time latinos become more conservative.
However, it's possible to turn black liberals into black conservatives because a large percentage of black voters are already conservatively minded people...they just don't realize it yet.
How can Republicans accomplish this?
Well, black Americans have proven that they'll vote for the black candidate no matter what he stands for. They will always vote for the black man/woman.
Therefore, if in the future the Republicans can find a strong educated black Presidential candidate (such as Tim Scott), we can assume that black America will vote for him...right?
Would black America vote for someone like Tim Scott? Or, would there be an upswelling of black on black racism where black America attempts to make Tim Scott out to be a "house n8888r" or "uncle tom" (as TBirdSpur was at times labled by his own family for being a black man who votes Republican).
There's a lot of truth in the Saturday Night Live skit where black political analysts discuss Obama's bad policies and then ask each other "would you vote for him again in light of his mistakes?" To which everyone one replies "yes, I'd vote for him."
I believe black America will vote for the black guy regardless of political party.
The Republican Party needs to support and focus their resources on young promising black conservatives.
Black conservatives are the key to transforming black America into a reliably conservative base.

Unfortunately, a majority of black leaders want a Ferguson, MO type black America. They want black America to fit the stereotype that we saw on TV during the Furguson riots: Drunken men and women wearing dirty wife beaters or no shirts at all barely able to form an educated reply to simple questions.

Hispanics as a culture are already very conservative minded, the reason they vote Democrat right now is because that's who gives them the most opportunity for immigration, citizenship, education, higher paying jobs (increased minimum wage) ect...
As more and more 2nd and 3rd generation American Hispanics become voting age I believe you will see their votes start to sway Conservatively

The same can be said of the future of black America. If conservatives can capitalize on successful black Americans and use them as an example of what black Americans can accomplish as an educated and driven conservative rather than an uneducated liberal waiting for a government check...Republicans can eventually sweep the black vote.

already been done,,, Herman Cain and Alan Keyes both had fairly good wide scale support for being relative unknowns, it wasn't black or even white voters that stopped them, it was the Establishment Repuklican Party.

Cain was popular until his extra curricular activities came to light in the primaries.

Cain, who I like, also brings nothing to the table other than being a likable, relatively smart black guy with a business background. He really had no unique positions of his own during the primary.

Black people are like everyone else in that they won't vote for people they believe hate them. They believe Republicans are racist.
We have to convince them we are not. How can we do that? By not being racist, for one.
Also, by actually caring about and talking about issues that matter to them. You can't fake it, and you can't just wish them into caring about the same issues you are about.

As an educated black conservative, I hope you guys don't mind if I chime in even though I am not a regular contributor to this board.
Recruiting more African Americans into the Republican party is going to be a challenge. The mindset I find that differentiates my fellow black conservatives and my liberal friends is that my conservative friends are much more willing to insist the problems within our community are brought on by ourselves. My liberal friends tend to blame the system or blame someone for their issues.
Becoming a Black Conservative is about questioning the "status quo" within the black community. For every unfortunate situation where a cop kills a young black man, we have 10 young black men killing other young black men. Our unemployment rates are twice white America because our kids aren't as well educated as white kids. There are many other issues but if you challenge the "status quo" then you are opposing the community and seen as "not black enough"
If you are interested in learning more about this topic take a look at Jason Riley's "Please Stop Helping Us" . Cover in-depth many issues surrounding the black community and how liberals hold back the black community.

Just keep repeating that line. "If you were an educated black man, you would be Republican!" Its just another variation of "you blacks are too dumb to figure out the Democrats are tricking you!" - a mantra the Republican party has repeated over and over for decades now. Its worked great so far, hasn't it.
