Yes, and no.

Also I am putting forward one of many ways in which Cooper was able to be in the future before he got there from a linear timeline perspective.

Where?

Just to be clear, traveling back in time is a paradox. As far as we know it is impossible. So whenever your future self contacts you, you have to suspend disbelief.

Do you believe there can be two yous? How is the "second" one constructed?

Well, this is where science and fiction intersect. According to Interstellar, matter can't travel back in time per se. Gravity is somehow able to cross the time space continuum. So think about it this way. Whenever you look into the sky at night you are not seeing the present you are seeing a representation of the past. There are not more than one systems or stars but in fact the representations of past systems and stars. What if you could somehow warp time in order to send a message to the past present which you observe? According to Interstellar it is possible with 5D beings with he use of gravity.

Incorrect.

It is merely unlikely.

If wormholes exist that can be travelled, time travel is theoretically possible as well.

It is highly situational however.

Let's be clear. The issue is not time travel. Theoretically moving forwards or slowing down time is possible. What is not feasible is to travel backwards in time or to reverse time.

Question here, how in the hell did Romily not go insane being stuck on the Endurance all by his lonesome for 23 years while the others were down on the shallow water planet? That's some castaway type shite in cramped quarters and even longer time span.

I think he was up for less than half of those years, but you would still think something would make him tick. Matt Damon makes a point of saying this, and I think Romily should have said something about it.

Yep, which adds to the problem of Cooper finding Brand if the Wormhole is closed. For all we know, Brand went back 8 billion years into the past, is still in the Milky Way Galaxy (unrecognizable due to time), but her and humanity have either long passed or transcended.

I highly doubt that since they were receiving video from earth during said time frame.

But it was going through the wormhole. That's irrelevant. It's not as if those messages literally went hundreds of billions of light years across the cosmos in minutes.

So he put himself in stasis? Then how did he get out of that then? It took the crew to get Matt Damon's character out of stasis fwiw.

Yep. They may be the most intelligent and well trained for space humans there are but they are still human beings and human beings need social contact to survive. I just can't imagine being stuck in cramped quarters in the inky black of space all by myself staring down at a planet knowing that in a month or so, this astronaut will finally finish that step back on to the shuttle but it'll take another month or three to close the door and then the tidal wave still has a couple months to reach the shuttle.

There's a timer on it. Matt Damon made a point in saying that he didn't put a timer on it the final time, and merely waited for the Endurance to come rescue him.

Which brings me to a practical problem for plan B. How is Bran supposed to survive on her own and then incubate 1000s of embryos, who then in turn become surrogates. The likelihood of her survival is bleak much less the chance to spawn 1000s of new borns who mature to adulthood.

Just watched the movie. This is probably one of the best movies I've seen. Really enjoyed it and wished it didn't end.
