Republican Game Plan to Win the Mid Terms

I think we all know the basic Rep game plan - Obama sucks & don't screw up. Everyone expected it to work with the mid term map the dems were facing. Not many people expected it to work so well.
This article has something for everyone on the Poli Board - Dems slamming Obama, Reps slamming Reps like McDaniel and maneuvering meh candidates aside for better choices, actual Rep candidate making their own demands of the GOP before agreeing to run...
It's a little long to fit all of that it but I enjoyed it.

Both sides have always had the same game plan. Let the other frick up so bad that we can't lose. Then they go and frick it up and lose it the next election.

You forgot the "everybody loses" part

True. But the Republicans did quite a few new things this time to recruit and groom their candidates. They DID present better candidates titis time, as discussed on nearly every news channel tonight, and those candidates DID do a better job of not saying or doing dumb shite. In addition, the GOP made advances on their ground game.
If you don't want to read the article, that's cool, but don't dismiss what you haven't even read.

Is this the Washington Post piece? I already read it, awesome article.
They heap praise on McConnell.
And tell how Harry Reid and Democrats are mad as hell at Obama for his awful performance on basically all issues.
Good read.

Didn't dismiss anything. Just described how the pendulum has swung for a good while now. The Republicans will get back on their right wing horse worrying about gay marriage instead of issues that actually matter to us. They'll lose control again and the Democrats will piss away all of our money.

Yep. All that likely to happen. But perhaps Reps have learned how not to shoot themselves in the foot and actually put forth candidates I want to vote for.
SEC - yep. Same piece. Very good read.
