Mid term elections nearly always favor the party that isn't in the white house, plus the democrats just had more incumbents having to defend their seats. But democrats do better in presidential election years, and the republicans will be the ones with more vulnerable incumbents in 2016.
There is no statement. This isn't a damn movie. These things move in cycles. Stop letting the cable news channels sell you their melodramatic bullshite.
