quote:

Asked by Sports Illustrated if Harbaugh will remain with the 49ers beyond this season, Rice answered, “I really don’t think so, I think he’s gone no matter what happens this year.”

quote:

“Maybe that’s starting to wear and tear on the team and it’s taking its toll,” Rice said. “The team, they try to say, ‘Well, we’re not affected by it.’ But you are.”

Can't believe Jim fumbled that ball on the goal line on Sunday....

These talks crack me up, they only surface everytime the 49rs lose.

The Niners' locker room is huge. Quick show of hands - who here isn't in it?

Love tGOAT but he is pretty embarrassing whenever he opens his mouth.

Sorry castorinoh, you are terribly wrong.. Adam and Mort both have been reporting this for over a month now.. That regardless even if the niners won the Super Bowl.. Harbaugh is gone.. Before the niners were even losing much

Jay Glazer was the first one to break this report actually, many weeks ago.. It has nothing to do with Kaep's fumble or the losing

Adam and Mort didn't report that. It's Glazer's fat arse to-date being on the hook that he's leaving no matter what.

OP slightly disingenuous given Jerry's caveats of speculation. Non-news.

I'm almost of the mindset now that Harbaugh leaving becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.

don't think so but I'm sure it's nothing for him to get scoop like this from inside the organization

There have been reports that the 49ers front office dislikes Harbaugh as well as the players in the locker room. Why should he stay there?

quote:

Rumblings about Jim Harbaugh and his status inside the San Francisco 49ers' locker room won't go away, even with the team back to its winning ways. Following the Niners' come-from-behind victory over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, NFL Network analyst Deion Sanders said he is hearing that some players no longer want to play for Harbaugh.

The 49ers were a flat, emotionless team Sunday against Rams. It looks like doesn't even have the respect of his players anymore. He had I could give a frick attitude is his post game presser after the Rams game.

And if they play inspired this Sunday, will that mean he has control of the team again? Will Glazer be penning that column? It's becoming habit that only post-loss the disgruntling emerges.

quote:

There have been reports that the 49ers front office dislikes Harbaugh as well as the players in the locker room. Why should he stay there?

Because he's under contract through 2015.

He's under contract through 2015.

Repeat, he's under contract through 2015.

How much/little he gets along with the FO is speculation. For the Niners to consider cutting ties with one of the best coaches in the league because he's a pain in the arse is comical. Before the Denver game his team bounced back with 3 straight wins - all of which they trailed at halftime - must not have lost his team then. Two bad L's? shite, game over man. The Niners need to cut him, frick 3 straight 30s draft positions to start his coaching career.

For Harbaugh to be coaching another NFL team he has to be fired/mutually let go. Not happening with York unless Harbaugh exhibits a psychosis far beyond that described in these stupid rumblings. I mean you actually have people believing players can't listen to music on planes.

He won't be gone.

But if so, Blank needs to open his checkbook.
