Political analysts have long noted that Louisiana tends to vote GOP in statewide races, even if Democrats outnumber the Republicans. Now you can see just how that plays out, precinct by precinct:

pretty cool map, be interested to see how this map will compare to the results tonight.

I would have never guessed that my little precinct in North Louisiana would be blue. But, then when I thought about it, and it made sense with the demographics near me.

Glad I voted then. It might actually make a difference this time.

Solid red, happy to report. I have no desire to live amongst or in any way associate with liberals. I've culled all such individuals from my life. Their philosophies on life offend me to the core. To me, talking to a liberal is like talking to someone I know fully supports Hitler and everything he stood for. I can't get past it.

Light red.

Interestingly, in a downtown BR precinct, Obama got 410 votes to Romney's 2 in the 2012 election.

It's precinct, not neighborhood.

I'm sure its a typo, but that's a whole lotta votes for a precinct with zero people registered to vote.

This map will help everyone who got a mailer trying to "intimidate" them into voting by pointing out whether or not they vote is a matter of public record. Just look at the color of your neighborhood. If its blue, Dems sent the letter, if its red, Reps sent the letter.

My city and district is very red and by some bizarre coincidence (tongue meet cheek) is the fastest growing (economically), area in the whole State of Louisiana and one the top in the nation.

it is impossible to go and find out who voted for who. That is the point of a blind election. You know how many voted for candidate X and Candidate Y, but you don't know who Catholictigerfan voted for.
