Extra charges for using phone as hotspot(VZW)

Family share plan. Unlimited talk and text. 15g data. If I use my phone as a hotspot am I likely to incur extra charges or just keep it under the 15 g data limit?

How could anyone possibly answer this? That depends on what percentage of your data plan you're already using and how much data you intend to use through the hotspot.

Because I just said that I wasn't gonna use more than my 15 gigs. I'm asking if there is any extra charge simply for using your phone as a hotspot. Do you understand now? Or do I need to feed it to you like a toddler?

my verizon family share plan has free tethering on my iphone, so I doubt you'd see extra charges, as long as you stay under the limit

Op the answer is no.
Only thing they will charge is you going over the limit

If you are sharing 15GB of data, you can use mobile hotspot at no extra charge.
