The river flows where it wants and that's the end of nola

Would go the way of atxhafalaya and the old river through nola would become a saline bayou without any sediment like bayou lafourche

What a conundrum. Flood folks out or flood folks out.

What do you think happens to the coast? It is always changing.

Waterworld! Wonder if at some point it will stop or will it just keep going and eventually spread into other states? We lose a football field of wetlands an hour.

Most of the loss are wetlands, which are being lost due to lack of replenishment.

It's not a coastal thing that affects all states.

And it certainly doesn't typically move as fast as this in a span of 75 years.

And the fricked up part is one of the main reasons why the state is getting fricked over isn't to protect people from flooding much as its is to protect the shipping lanes.

Don't worry, Earth goes in cycles and when the next Ice Age hits,
this will reverse itself. But then again we will all perish at that point or have moved on to the outer cosmos.
