Anyone here use a hotspot for home Internet? I have a att unite pro for work that I frequently bring home with me. It seems to work pretty good so I was thinking of giving the ax to cox and just using this full time. I'm not a gamer nor do I really stream much other than redzone on an iPad. From reviewing my data usage I use 10-15 gb/ month well within our 80gb plan. Anyone else have success doing this?

I used hotspot for.a month at home before we finally got Internet hooked up and I used about 55GB that month. Thank baby jesus I had unlimited at the time.

How the hell do you have an 80GB plan?

It's a mobile share for the company. Have about 10 people on the plan but most of them don't use more than 1-2 a month.

At&t ran a special recently that they would double whatever plan you chose. I went with the 40 gig plan which they doubled to 80

AT&T is absolute trash. I have AT&T high speed DSL right now and I'm about to move 1/2 mile up the highway and I was told that they don't have any ports available for me so I can't get the internet unless I use the hotspot. What's annoying is at my new property, my neighbor to the left AND right of me have DSL but I can't get it. They said until someone cancels their service I'm stuck without DSL.

Should I just get the hotspot device or should I look at another provider? I live in the country so my options are limited (Hughes Net and Verizon are the only other options).
