Is he that much of an upgrade to warrant dropping Ertz for him? Julius owner dropped him this week in a crunch for other positions.
Picking him up would mean immediately dealing with his bye next week.
I'm leaning toward just riding it out with Ertz as difficult as TE has been this year.

I think Allen and Ertz are in the same tier, both TD dependent tight ends. If you can carry both you can start based on matchup, otherwise I'd say six of one half dozen of the other

I would gamble on Allen. Luck is just a way better QB and that offense scores a lot.

I think Ertz and Dwayne Allen are pretty similar. Both are TD dependent. Only difference is that Allen has been getting the TDs. Not sure if that keeps up.

Yup. I would rather Luck delivering the passes over the Foles. That is the difference for me.

Agree they are same tier. Ertz actually has 4 more targets and 30 more yds. Allen has 4 more TDs, which are hard to predict.
Allen got picked up on waivers so it's moot but I'll roll with Ertz rest of way
