I'm looking to buy one of these kits, but for $350?? Seems steep! Anyone know if there are other kits out there that are similar and have generally the same set?

Your best chance lies in the Gerber Apocalypse Survival Kit.

So a hatchet and a couple of bear grylls knives give me a better chance at surviving a zombie apocalypse than 5 pistols, an AK-47, and about 5000 rounds of ammunition. Cool.

Pretty transparent marketing ploy, target the simpletons.

I'm really not wanting to buy this specific kit. Just one that's similar that would have some of the same type of tools. I don't care for the marketing and I've never seen The Walking Dead. I could care less. Just looking for a good hunting knife kit.

sorry, don't need an extra 11.6 lbs. of dead tacticool weight to pack around.
Give me a fire starter, a good fixed blade, and a can opener....

Are those 5 pistols, AK-47, and 5000 rounds of ammunition gonna skin your corpse when my only remaining food source is other survivors?
