Why are you still arguing this?

I will not let it go as long as there are still ignorant fricks that think second hand smoke from a person 15 feet away is somehow more harmful to little Jimmy than him literally standing near logs that are burning and inhaling more smoke than oxygen.

Outdoor smoking bans and the judgment passed upon smokers is stupid and I don't even smoke. It's absurd our employees have to leave company property to smoke or dip.

I don't even think the part about it being unhealthy bothers them. They just don't like it and want everyone to be as miserable as them.

I just don't see how smelling someone would be that bad..if it's outside, the smell disipates fast. Just an example, but no one would care about microwaving tilapia outside. It's a fleeting annoyance. Surely something someone could deal with for a few minutes without getting his panties in a wad.

not a smoker btw

Oh yeah we're so miserable not polluting our lungs and heart with rat poison, tar and thousands of other chemicals cutting years of our lives off and going to the cardiologist very frequently.

I do and take mine to the park. I don't care if people smoke. Be respectful and don't blow smoke in my kid's face and we're all good.

Actually. I have been just trying to limit the smoking to just when I drink. Or at work. I haven't had one yet today.

It is up for debate whether certain things cause cancer or not. Smoking is not one of those things. Regardless of the debate about how it does or doesn't infringe upon people's rights in public....why would anyone smoke knowing that it causes cancer. What is so appealing about the experience knowing what we all know about it now?

When I grew up I drank coke for every meal. I rarely drank water. My whole family did this for the most part. Now that I am an adult and can make my own decisions and realize how bad soft drinks are for you (health and teeth), I gave them up and never went back. If things are bad for you, why do them period?
