Beyond the traditionally named bowls, the corporate bowl names leave me mystified. I don't know what there were, I don't know where they are, and I do think a bowl that carries a corporate name over a traditional name has sold out for the bucks over tradition.

I still say they can be traditionally named and corporately sponsored if they went something like this:
"The XYZ Bowl (sponsored by ABC Corporation)". And that would be a win/win for fans, bowl city, and corporations and would attach a name and a location.

False ... I'll be there.

I think the Cotton Bowl will be iffy considering how well the SEC west is doing.

I agree completely. They make a little money but cheapen their product.

why? Serious question, you don't think LSU will get a very good bowl IF they win out? I could see LSU the second highest ranked team in the SEC if they win out. That's why I think they have a shot at the Sugar Bowl.......when LSU beats bama, they will climb in the human polls to around the top 10 or so....with two more road wins after that, they would be very likely sitting at worst 7 or 8.....I think at that point, given how they finished, they would have a great shot at a major bowl.......and this is assuming they don't get the help they needed to win the conference.

Adding to the confusion is the fact that the Orange Bowl is now the "Capital One Orange Bowl", not to be confused with the bowl game in Orlando that was known for years as the "Capital One Bowl". It is now the Citrus Bowl again, and the sponsor is Buffalo Wild Wings and the bowl is called the Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl.

obviously a couple, if not all three of those teams will be beaten....obviously LSU will move up significantly by running the table.....I thought predictions meant we were predicting what was going to happen after all games played...of course right now we aren't there YET.....but again, obviously a lot of SEC teams will still lose. I stand by my argument that IF LSU runs the table, they will be at least the second highest ranked SEC team.
