It doesn't but its the correct answer.

So I take off the factory grease in order to apply more lube? The fricker should shoot right out of the box. I'm gonna pass some higher powered rounds thru it this weekend. If it still does this, I'm sending it back to the Motherland.

Twice on the 12 but every cycle on the .20. I never had a problem with the 20 once I bought those heavy ounce shells.

strip it clean it earl it up shoot the shite out of it

I never had the break in issue with any semi auto but they are Franchi I12 SBEII and A super Sport. I do remember someone saying something about the low brass federal shells jacked their gun up a bit.

that makes no sense.

Then don't do it and keep jamming your gun.

The "oil" that is put on from the factory has only one purpose and that is for preservation. It is not there so the weekend warrior can grab one on the way to the camp and go have a day of shooting. You should not have to really break the gun in. Simply go buy something like the Remington solvent in the huge can and spray the shite of the moving parts and barrel and then an extremely light coating of oil.

Please don't do this. Just a few dots on the moving parts is all it takes.

I wasn't implying pouring the whole bottle of solution down the barrel. Just a good thorough cleaing of moving parts even if they don't appear to need it.

So do Berettas. My A400 Xplor had no issues with light target loads right out of the box.

So how mad are you that my shotgun my dad bought me can outshoot your jammed up beretta that you paid way more for?

Not really, because I have another Beretta that backs it up. One day you will understand that paying for things brings responsibility and greater care.

I think I've oiled my Benelli 1 time in 5 years of ownership and it shoots flawlessly.

You are a hard headed sob aren't you? The factory is not greasing your gun. They did not have a qc meeting and to make sure your gun is well greased so you can shoot it in the parking lot. They however did probably have a qc meeting so that way your gun was not covered in rust and corrosion because it had sat on a shelf or in a warehouse for months or years. Clean off the factory oil and try again.

Absolutely, my fist Benelli (SBE I) would not cycle a light load at all, I was so pissed. I took it back to where I bought it, dude broke it down, cleaned it, told me he would pay me double what I paid if it did not cycle. Never had another problem with it. Fist thing I do now is take one out of the box and clean it.

Same as my $700 Beretta A300 that still has the factory grease on it. It runs low brass just fine. Ask Motorboat.

He's an ambulance chaser, the wrong turn is precisely what he wants so he can pay his bills.

Yeah I am. Point taken. Gonna spend some time with her this weekend and work it out. If that doesn't work, then she's going back to Italy.
