50 and I have a head full of silver hair. My twin boys on the other hand are starting to thin out and they are mid twenties. My wives dad has been a cue ball for the 32 years I've known him. Guess they got his genetics.

I heard the mom's side is a bigger factor than what the dad has. Although my mom's dad and my dad are both bald AF.

WTF does that have to do with the price of tea in China?

And to answer the OP, I'm 42 and noticed my top thinning a couple years ago. It's not bad yet. And you really can't tell unless you look directly at the top of my head. That's why I never look down.

I was kidding. And of course you are. Your BMI is a tad under obese. And BMI is everything.

And you are still losing your hair. No amount of protein shakes and bicep curls will fix that. Fatty.

Lol, not losing. It's gone. And it's no big deal. Ive been in the gym my entire adult life and have always loved lifting and sports. But keep on insinuating that Im trying to compensate

Relax? Im relaxed. It's cool. I know your jabbing and trolling Dont fault me for defending myself from someone being a dickhead. Im assuming youre balding too since you clicked on this thread. It's really ok once you accept it as I did years ago and went the Mach 3 route. Just let it go, you'll feel better afterwards.

Like the other guy, I just found it odd that you were throwing out stats. I'm surprised you didn't give us your bench and squat max.

There are few things I am blessed with. But great hair is one of them. Have a great weekend my man.

Look on the bright side, once you hit 40 or 45 you'll have fun trying to get rid of the hair that grow where it never has before (ears, nose, back, etc).

26. It was thinning quick towards the end of 26 and the start of 27. Had a lot of stress for the better part of 26 and early 27, so I think that was a factor.

Kind of has plateaued in the last six months or so. You can only really notice it in my bangs. I've had the frat swoop since I was about 10 so it wasn't easy accepting it, but I started cutting it a little shorter and as long as I keep it cut and not let it get too long, it still looks good. I just look a little more grown up.

I was just trying to explain that it was easier for me to take the leap since it's typically fitting for a bigger in shape guy and that some people may be able to relate.

I started noticing it at 21. Leveled off about 25. I'm too pale to shave it, so Im considering my options.

I know several people who have a full head of hair and would be straight up bald if it weren't for Propecia.

Seems like a sketchy drug but it works.

43 and no thinning here! Just a little grey on the sides.

Not sure if its true, but I've heard the gene comes from your mother's father, which I hope is true because he lived to the 90's and still had all his hair to the end. My dad is about 60% bald, just like his dad, and for both of them the thinning started around age 30.

Started losing my temples at 18. I'm 20 now and my temples have receded about 3" from where they were 2 years ago. I have a pretty damn steep widows peak right now. As soon as I start losing hair on the top I'm going to shave it clean.

Early 50s: My hair is not the part of me that is thick and long and healthy. If I still had hair like I did in my early twenties, by now I would have worn my pecker out.
Saved my marriage, the early baldness did.
