re: Speaking as objectively as possible, we probably lose one more game this season.

If I knew you/trusted you (no offense) I would absolutely take a $100 bet on the number of Saints losses the rest of the way with 3 being a push. People need to look past how we started and look at how we are playing now:
1) just beat the previous division winner by a sizable margin on the road
2) Beat the piss out of what I considered a top 5 NFL team at home
3) dominated a very good team on the road for 55 minutes before going to absolute shite for 5

Even with them being much better against the run and a little better in pass defense, they still aren't that fast, dynamic LBer we are sorely lacking.
Mosley was that guy. I think even Shazier could have been that guy.
Next year if a great LB is sitting there and we don't take him I may just end it.

This guy...
...will be available in the 3rd Round this year.
Top 10 in Solo Tackles, Tackles for loss and fumble recoveries (ALL positions). Also 2FF, 2INTs (1 pick-6) so far this year.

I absolutely believe we win out if they play like they are right now the rest of the way. I just don't have faith in the Saints to be consistent right now. Get back to me in about 2 more weeks and if they are still playing the same way, I'll jump on the bandwagon with you.
Until they go on the road to Pittsburgh and lose. Then I'll just accept that we win out in the Dome and can't win on the road.

Depends on who is avaalable. One of our guards is gone next season (I'm leaning towards Evans). We also could use a legit #2 CB and a #1 WR. I'd rather roll with Lofton/Hawthorne and get a legit 6'2 flanker at WR. Hopefully White/PRob continue to play well and Baptiste steps the frick up and we don't need a CB. Problem with the next draft is that it looks like it's Cooper in a tier of his own and not much after at WR. We've gone from one of the best WR classes I've ever seen to one of the worst. CB's are solid this draft, but not great. No idea about guards, but we usually find our interior OL talent in the middle rounds.
As of this moment, with what is available in the next draft and what we have currently, I would trade down and load up on 2nd/3rd round picks and draft 2 or 3 interior OL players + a WR early on.

There is a TON of OL talent in this draft.

I know OTC tells me its going to be Evans, but for some reason I see us keeping both through 2015. It looks like whatever Evans had going on, its better now since the bye week. It also makes more sense to keep them if their play continues to be at this level, that way the rookie doesn't get thrown to the dens and we become SOL if its worst case.
In 2016:
Grubbs: 10.3mil cap (7.3mil savings, 3.0mil dead)
Evans: 10.2mil cap (8.7mil savings, 1.5mil dead)
I think we still go CB in top 2 rounds, OG in top 3 rounds, and OLB in top 3 rounds. I think we may splurge on a top 4 round RB if Ingram leaves as well.
I think we are going to re-sign Patrick Robinson, who has played exceptionally well since week 1 and 2. Was it rust? Possibly, but he looks like the 2011 version since he was in the dog house.

So we go from the season is lost to maybe lose one more game?
Lets pump the brakes on this "objectivity"

We will likely be able to sign him around the vet min, and he'd be worth it. He's very inconsistent, but he is a capable #3 or 4 CB.

Season was never "lost." Rather than using LOL emoticons, why don't you tell us which teams you think can/will beat us and why? We have a tough stretch coming up in SF/Cin/Bal, but none of those teams are better than Green Bay, whom we just beat the frick out of in the Dome. Our remaining road games consists of one team that I would consider average or better.

Any team on the schedule can beat us. Certainly i think the Saints are looking better but its two games. Looks like. Commitment to the run might save the season and the defense has done a 180. Gave up tons of yards to GB but took advantage of turnovers
My post was just to point out that your OP wasnt exactly objective
One road win in 8 games and you're saying they might lose once more all year. Slow it down

Im not sure how you can definitively say that.
Itll be a primetime home game for them. Cutler is much better than Cam.
Forte, bennett, marshall, and jeffery to throw to.
Revenge game for them after a huge home win for the saints over carolina.
Sure we could win, but its not a given

Their defense is full of holes. Cutler is NOT having a good year. Forte will be tough... but I think we win by 4.
ETA:
Full of holes from a scheme/talent standpoint this season.

Pretty comparable year to brees, and the best of his career so far, but to each his own.

Man do you follow the games every weekend? Teams that should win get beat.
I think we definitely win the rest of our division games. All of the other games can go either way. Even at home. Just my opinion.
If we play like we did these last two weeks (minus turnovers) then yea we should win them all. But that's not always the case.
Gun to my head ill say 2 losses the rest of the way (but hopefully 0).

I don't think we beat The steelers on their turf at that stage in the game. Realistically barring health we SHOULD only lose 2. But it'll probably he three lol
