I am traveling for business and will be heading to yosemite for a weekend in november. For those that have been...what are some must sees in the park?

Any tips?

Are you staying overnight in the park? In November it may be frozen over. I would go to Glacier Point Rd, do a loop from Taft Point, hike along the edge over to Sentinal Dome, then go into the valley the next day.

You need more time.

Just go to Yosemite Valley. You can see several of the popular areas from there. Then, if you have time, go down to Mariposa, if the roads allow. I'm not sure what time of year they have to start closing roads due to weather

What entrance? The Mariposa Grove is right at the south entrance by Fish Camp. You could drive in early, see the big trees, then have lunch at Wawona, then take the Glacier Point road and see the valley from above, Taft point, Sentinal Dome, Glacier Point. Next day drive into the valley and see all the sights from below. Spectacular.

I think free climbing El Capitan is feasible in that time frame.

Watch the sunset and look at the stars on top of Glacier Point.

Check out the redwoods at either national park if you are coming from the south or the state park if coming from the north.

Sequoia trees and coastal redwoods are perhaps the most spectacular living things I have seen.
