Mary Landrieu does not know the difference from discrimination and racism. The people of Louisiana elected a woman Governor and an Indian/American Governor in the last 12 years. No racism or sexism during that time.

We discriminate between competence and incompetence, not black and white. We discriminate between bad policy that hurts Louisiana citizens and good policy, which we the citizens of Louisiana demand!

There is racism in Washington, DC where she lives, not in Louisiana!

So how does Mary plan to fix this horrible unfairness and injustice?

What a disrespectful thing to say about your own state that you supposedly represent.

Well, she definitely cares about half of them, but the other half doesn't care about her anyway.

She was one of the only elected women in the Senate when she won her first term.

Landrieu turns on the voters of Louisiana, now?

Pathetic

So where was Mary landrieu wrong though?

She may have been wrong to stoop to this league to salvage votes, but is she giving an wholly inaccurate representation of some of her opposers?

What a hack, gtfo Landrieu. Here's Jindal's response LINK

"In Louisiana we don't think in black or white but in red, white, and blue. Oh & purple and gold on Saturday nights when we cheer on the LSU Tigers"

It's not 1962 anymore, and Landrieu knows that. She knows that the state she is slandering has elected her to be a US Senator 3 times. She knows that the state she is slandering elected an Indian-American twice to be the governor of the state, and elected a woman to hold that office before him.

She knows all of that, but this is simply a matter of a desperate, despicable human being resorting to scare tactics in a last-ditch attempt to energize a voting constituency that, hopefully, can see thru this charade.

Hopefully most of them can see thru this phony bullshite.

She is full of horse shite because she is not talking about "some" of her opposition, she is implying this is the reason for most of it.

There is "some" of everything in every group.

You can't be that stupid, ATL.

I'm pretty sure I know what your problem is, but I'll keep it to myself. I think it's ironic that you talk about honesty, though.

You conveniently ignore the fact that PIYUSH Jindal was elected here.

People are prejudice against blacks but Jindal is Indian. He is less dangerous because he is only brown. Who is more racist, the 90% of blacks that vote one way or the 60% of whites that vote the other way?

There isn't a more worthless poster on this board than the one I'm responding to with this post.

ok, right, that proves that blacks have had it great in LA. Racism is over, except for the blacks who won't vote for republicans.

And I gave your John Donne post an upvote.

Some mini-Don King guy (the hair!) was on tv today about it & said "what's controversial about the statement?" Is it that she's not supposed to make racist white people mad?

And the board thinks I'm the one obsessed with race.
