Textra using nearly 20% of my battery usage...

I noticed a few random vibrations with no notification of any kind so I thought something might be screwing up, and when I checked my battery usage I saw this.
Does this look weird? I rarely text (only 8 texts since this morning) but Textra accounts for 1/5 of my battery. Anyone ever had this problem? I might just reinstall it and see what happens after that.

it did that to me once. I uninstalled and installed it and it hasn't happened since.

I was using textra and had to uninstall. I wasn't getting my group messages sometimes. It was getting ridiculous

Textra doesnt even show up in my battery usage. I'm sure it is lumped into something else. Regardless, I send tons of texts a day and dont think textra affects it much at all. It is too good for me to go without it even if it did. No problem with pics, group texts and looks awesome with material design layout and lockscreen functionality.

I reinstalled textra last night and today it is not even showing up on the list, so it must have fixed the bug.

I've been having trouble sending pics, especially screen shots. It won't send it, then all of a sudden I'll get texts asking why I sent it 10 times, which I did not. Also can't send any vids or .gif it seems, and I set my limit to no limit.

No limit might be your problem.. Set it to 600kb or 1mb..Wouldn't hurt to clear your cache and/or clear data

I had the same problem with this before i deleted textra. Is this box supposed to be selected?

Yeah. Sometimes it would work fine and sometimes I would get 20 messages in a matter of seconds that were sent the day before.
It's a good messaging app when it work correctly.
