This thread is bringing out the shitty attitude of jumping to conclusions and assuming the worst in people like they had nefarious intentions.

Seriously. This is her life. This isn't exactly a light decision or something that you can change your mind about later.

People might have a case for calling it fraud if it turned out that she wasn't actually terminally ill. That's it.

Whether it was or wasn't she accepted it. Would have been much more noble to refuse or donate it to another cause than to use it for your own gain.

If she wasn't young and pretty i doubt this would have ever been a story. Say what you want about people calling her a fraud but that is the truly pathetic thing about this story.

There has never been a suicide in history that didn't involve a ton of intense second guessing on the part of the person killing him/herself.

The first page or so of this thread (stopped reading and skipped to the end) will not go down as the OT Board's noblest moments.

I hope she has found her peace.

Wow.

I hope she is in a better place and her husband, family and friends can find peace after this life altering ordeal.

Side note, frick the people in this thread giving a terminally ill woman shite for second guessing something so devastating as suicide.

You don't realize how much you want to live until you are faced with the alternative. I know.

So, what was with the report that she wasn't going to do it?

Maybe she didn't want the media to be there and wanted to do it in private.
