I was 15 and killed a cowhorn spike. 25 yards out, through both lungs and he ran through the thickest briar patch imaginable. Took forever to drag him to my dads truck.

Looking back , I don't know how that deer didn't blow my cover. I made so much noise getting into shooting position

Never bow hunted, but I did nail a rabbit with my 7 ft. blowgun last week next to my driveway. Lost the blood trail in my back yard though. Doubt he'll be pooping in my yard again though.

My first was a 85 lb doe on thanksgiving afternoon in 2011. Was only 15 yards away drinkin from a pond. I knew i hit her when she ran off and i could see the red blood in the pond. Found her about 30 yards into the woods

I deserve the ragging, but it's not like I didn't put my time in. When are you going to get to spend some time in a tree?

Big doe behind my moms house, shot about 5 minutes before shooting hours were over. My bro took off work on a monday morning ( ) to come over and help skin it out, because I couldnt find it on sunday night. It rained over night but I just headed off in the direction she ran and saw her big white belly through the brush.

I was 17 and by myself. Shot a doe at about 10 yards. I looked for that stupid deer for 4 hours, in the dark, by myself. Never found her.

The buzzards helped me find her a week later. So i guess that counts.

85 grain thunderhead through a big arse four point in full velvet at 15 on opening day. The feeling was almost better than my first sexual experience.

Always thought knocking the rust off with a good doe was the best way to start off your season. I shot my first deer with a bow two weeks ago. Nice fat doe at 15 yds. Looking to get my second kill sunday
